American Iron has recently transitioned to a new computer software called RIMAS, which is designed to simplify transactions and streamline our business.
Note that the report generated by this new program looks different than statements from our old system. For example, one main change is the way that deductions are listed.
In the past, deductions such as liquids, dunnage, pallets, etc, were shown with a reduced weight, whereas with the new system it will show the orginal weight, the weight of the deduction, the price that will be subtracted, and the final weight and dollar amount.
This new system will make it easier to read and process the metal settlement reports. We hope this change will be an easy adjustment and will in turn help our customers access the reports more readily.
