Disposing of your
accumulated waste foundry sand is often an expensive and unproductive
proposition. The cost of shipping it to secondary consumers can be prohibitively
expensive, and simply dumping it in a landfill is inefficient and a poor
use of our natural resources. American Iron has the answer: a three step
recycling program for the beneficial reuse of your foundry sand. Here’s
how it works:
| 1. | American Iron delivers the required type and grade of scrap metal to your foundry as feed stock. This leaves an empty truck in position at your foundry at very low cost. |
| 2. | The truck is reloaded with your waste foundry sand and transports it to the point of beneficial reuse. |
| 3. | The loop is closed when our truck picks up a load of scrap from nearby sources and returns it to American Iron for recycling. |
Because your waste sand is remanufactured into a new product, your downstream liability is virtually eliminated. And American Iron’s sand recycling program is offered year-round, not just seasonally.
